"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE."
John 3:16
Tomas Gregory Hollenbach, 10 years old, Draper, Utah, graduated to eternal life on Saturday,November 19, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. Tomas was diagnosed with a Brain Stem Glioma (DIPG) in March of 2010. Tomas was surrounded by his entire family at his home when he took his final breath. Tomas was born on October 7, 2001 in Sandy, Utah to his proud parents; Greg and Dulce. He was the oldest of three sons, including Victor and Mateo. He was the first grandchild to his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Terri Williams and fourth grandchild to his maternal grandparents, Tomas Leopoldo and Magdalena Galicia; a cousin to Antonio, Maximiliano, and Franco Montero, Colby Hollenbach, and Nicholas Whitney; a nephew to six aunts and three uncles; and great grandson to William and Marjorie Stevens. Tomas' life was defined by his love and obedience for his Lord, Jesus Christ. Before Tomas became ill, he was determined to share that love for Jesus to the entire world. He would want you to know that "JESUS lOVES EVERYONE, EVEN YOU." Tomas loved going to school and playing soccer. Tomas lived for helping others and had an immeasurable compassion for anyone around him. His life was not cut short, but he completed it in God's perfect timing. We would like to thank everyone for going above and beyond to comfort and show such love to Tomas while he was here with us. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com

If you would like to share Tomas story with others, please feel free to do it. A few days before he went to heaven Tomas asked his mom to promise him to tell her grandchild about him and his mom told him; "Tomas I'm sure I will not be the only one that will talk with her grandkids about you"
Thank you to all of you who donated in honor of Tomas Hollenbach to Operation Christmas Child.
14,216 boxes collected this year
Do you know what is Operation Christmas Child? This is Tomas's favorite project for the last couple years. Last year he was able to meet the creator of this fun project and many of the staff involved. It's the world's largest Chritsmas project of its kind. Operation Chritsmas child helps poor kids around the world by giving them shoe boxes filled with Christmas gifts. Millions of this kids have never had Chritsmas before or have never receive a gift.
It's a project that anyone can do. Just take a shoe box and fill it with simple items like (new items)school suplies, hygiene items, small toys, clothing, books or any fun thing that you can fit in a shoe box. You don't have to put a lot of money into it. It's the simple things that mean so much. Get ready to be part of this project, invite your family, friends, your church or even the people of your work place. Tomas has invited his school and other places to be part of it, he also wanted to have OCC shoe boxes for his 10th birthday instead birthday presents.
Watch the video below to have a better idea of this project.
Now, you can start getting ready for the 2012 collection. Every month you can buy one little thing for your box/boxes so by the time of the collection day comes, you will have your boxes ready. Do not forget to invite your school, work place, friends and family to be part of this project and make a big goal, many kids around the world will be very thankful of your efforts. If you would like to use the story of Tomas as part of your presentation, please feel free to use it, we know that will be an honor for Tomas to be part of your presentation.

I may be just a kid but... I love Jesus
This website was born with the purpose that you and I know more about Jesus and get closer to Him.
My name is Tomas and I want to share Jesus with everyone who will listen. The last two years of my life were a true challenge for me because I had a brain stem tumor..
Tomas, at the age of 8 years old, was very worried for all those that had not known Jesus yet. He
constantly asked himself and others questions like; how we can make everyone in the world know about Jesus? What we can do so everyone will be able to go to heaven? He came up with the idea of making posters, he drew some sketches and showed them to his mom, his mom was very surprised about this great idea and told him that he may be able to hang this posters at church and that they will talk about it later with more detail. As time passed, his mom did not say anything about the posters. After a couple of months, Tomas was not feeling very well so his mom took him to the doctor. On March of 2010 the doctor said that Tomas had a tumor on his brain, this tumor is called a “Brain Stem Glioma”. These kinds of tumors can grow very fast and cause problems to your basic body functions, so Tomas needed to start a very hard treatment that is called radiation. It was then that Tomas’s mom remembered about the posters, it was like God told her to support this idea. Someone suggested to construct a website as well where Tomas could share the word of God and also share part of his life.
Tomas just turned 10 years old this year 2011, he is in heaven now and we are his major desire was that you get to know Jesus and one day go to Heaven too.
Here we are! All 4 Him, joyful with Him and all about Him; Jesus!
Tomas loved his church in Salt Lake City where he has learned many things about God.
"Come and see what happen on Sundays at my Church (Calvary Chapel of Salt Lake,)
you are going to love it and you are going to love Him!"
Do you want to know how much God loves you?
God loves you so much that
he gave His son to die in the cross for us.
This red heart is the love of God,
is the biggest, the greatest,
the best, the super love of God.
The dark hard behind it is
the bad stuff that you and me do,
those sins are cover by the
amazing love of God.
he gave His son to die in the cross for us.
This red heart is the love of God,
is the biggest, the greatest,
the best, the super love of God.
